Individual Coaching

Coaching at the National Institute for Change includes state-of-the-art personal and professional growth strategies. As a coach, Philippe Marquis works with each client to tap into their own personal greatness — a goal defined at the onset with the client using a series of facilitated explorations, inventories, and activities. Philippe helps clients design a plan, create accountability measures, celebrate milestones, and develop strategies for sustained positive change beyond the coaching process.

Coaching is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, counseling, or therapy. The coaching process focuses on specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions, and transitions in the client's personal life and relationships.  Additionally, the focus is on what is happening right now and looking in the future, while designing specific stepping stones toward radical improvement. As your coach, we help you to discover and develop your own definition of “great.”

“It has been said that authentic leaders aim at liberating their heart, their own and others’, so that their power can liberate the world.  Philippe Marquis offers the capable skills as a coach to help you locate [and] evoke your internal strengths and weaknesses.  You will explore and discover much about yourself under his careful and concerned approach and you will be encouraged to take risks and shoulder responsibilities that you haven’t yet considered.  Problems that seemed insurmountable can be solved or redesigned.  Philippe Marquis really does help you to reveal your full self, your awesome potential. Become liberated and get coached!” -Teresa Wright, MPH, CHES Routt County Senior Outreach Coordinator

“Philippe has an amazing ability to ask the right questions at the right times, leading me to discover new things about myself. Thank you for your openness and generosity of spirit.” - Ann-Marie Braga, Adolescent Health Program Director, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment

§         Regular check-in calls

§         Group support coaching - available on an as-needed basis

Group Coaching

Group coaching is a dynamic, effective, and affordable way to get support, insight, clarification, and inspiration during times of change.  Positive change can be anxiety-provoking, too, as we move closer to shaping and realizing our goals and dreams.  Accountability and support are the keys to moving from ‘good enough’ to great.

Group coaching combines the individual attention of a coach with the energy of other growth-oriented individuals. Groups of six to eight people meet two to three times a month for an hour.  Participants receive support, tools, inspiration, and encouragement.

The following are some of the topics covered during group coaching:

§        Receiving and understanding the Harrison Assessment information.

§        Identifying the values that motivate you and working to leverage those values toward your goals.

§        Shaping, articulating, and setting concrete milestones for your personal and professional life goals.

§        Setting up accountability structure to reach your goals.

§        Learning to identify and capitalize on your strengths.

§        Job/career transition guidance -  interviewing, resumes, networking, using  recruitment/research tools
