| Our Qualifications and Education
The staff at the National
Institute for Change shares a common philosophy: Gold Standard Change is
only possible through continued, focused education and training. The
staff at the Institute has extensive formal education in counseling and
mental health therapies, combined with years of professional experience
in private practice, group practice, healthcare centers, and the
provision of professional corporate, academic, religious and forensic
trainings.
Recognizing that every need is unique, clients are paired with a
National Institute for Change therapist/trainer who has the specific
training necessary to support their individual needs. We have
therapists/trainers with master, doctorate, and post-graduate training
in Marriage and Family Therapy, those with certification in Master
Addiction Counseling, and therapists/ trainers who specialize in
adolescent programs, including those certified in Parenting Your Out of
Control Teenager®.
Several staff members are trained in Eye Movement Desensitization
Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
and EMDR for occupational and relationship performance enhancement.
Today, the staff at the National Institute for Change continues to grow
and learn by completing additional post-graduate certification courses,
attending comprehensive seminars, and via membership in professional
change management organizations. Regular peer consultation and
supervision among staff members fosters a continuous learning
environment - one that transcends into creative, thoughtful client
support and success.
