Therapeutic Adult Services


Anger Management Groups: Designed for men and women who wish to more appropriately identify and channel their emotions. (Not part of our domestic violence program.) Typically, participants attend 12-24 sessions.

Cognitive Restructuring Groups: Designed for men and women who wish to identify and restructure their belief systems to enhance personal responsibility. Typically, participants attend 20 sessions.

Couples Therapy Sessions: Designed for couples looking to resolve relationship issues. The number of sessions is agreed upon during the initial consultation.

Domestic Violence Groups: Designed for men looking to replace verbal abuse, physical aggression, and controlling behaviors with self-control, communication, and respect. Typically, participants attend 36 sessions.

DUI Level I & II Education & Therapy: Designed for men and women to address their addictive behaviors in an ADAD approved program, which integrates creative and effective techniques into the ADAD approved curriculum. Typically, length of treatment is determined by the referral source.

Employee Assistance Program Services: Designed to assist employees in resolving personal and occupational issues to enhance job performance. The number of sessions is agreed upon during the initial consultation.

Evaluations for Domestic Violence, Anger Management, Mental Health and Substance Abuse: Designed to provide forensic evaluations for men and women as part of court and/or probation requirements.

Family Therapy Sessions: Designed for families that wish to resolve relationship issues. The number of sessions is agreed upon during the initial consultation.

Internship Services: Designed for undergraduate and graduate students requiring individual, couples, family and group counseling experience. Licensed, doctorate-level individual and group supervision is provided on a weekly basis.

Men's Groups: Designed for men to actively address cognitive restructuring, personal responsibility, self-esteem, stress management, conflict resolution, and victim empathy. Typically, men attend the topic of their choice or attend all 10 sessions.

Mental Health: Designed to help men and women resolve mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment, self-esteem, assertiveness, and conflict. The number of sessions is agreed upon during the initial consultation.

Parenting - Level I Parenting with Love and Limits: Based on cutting edge curriculum from Parenting with Love and Limits®, this program is designed for parents looking to effectively guide adolescents who are displaying problematic behaviors. This is a one-day, 8-hour seminar offered monthly.

Parenting - From A History of Hurt to Tools for Tomorrow:  This program is designed for parents of preadolescent children to understand developmental stages, impact of trauma on children, and provide parents a complete range of effective tools for discipline and instilling healthy self-esteem. This is a one-day, 8-hour seminar offered bi-monthly.

Trauma/Victim Services: Designed for men and women seeking personal strength, confidence and faith in self and others after experiencing the effects of trauma. Typically, treatment is offered individually.

Triple R - Rationality, Responsibility & Resolution: This program helps individuals understand why they make the decisions they make, provides tools to calm stress and resolve conflict, and practical application for goal-setting and achieving. This is a one-day, 8-hour seminar offered bi-monthly.
