| Therapeutic Adolescent Services
Anger Management Groups: Designed for young men and women who
wish to more appropriately identify and channel their emotions. (Not
part of our domestic violence program.) Typically, participants attend
12-24 sessions.
Domestic Violence Groups: Designed for young men looking to
replace verbal abuse, physical aggression, and controlling behaviors
with self-control, communication, and respect. Typically, participants
attend 36 sessions.
Ethics & Family Life
Course: Designed to teach adolescents manners, basic absolutes, and
moral reasoning. Adolescents attend three 2-hour sessions, parents
attend 8-hour, Level I Parenting course, and parents and teens attend
Respect Graduation together.
Evaluations for Domestic
Violence, Anger Management, Mental Health and Substance Abuse:
Designed to provide forensic evaluations for adolescents as part of
court and/or probation requirements.
Family Therapy Sessions: Designed for families that wish to
resolve relationship issues. The number of sessions is agreed upon
during the initial consultation.
Female Adolescent
Self-Esteem: Utilizes tools and ideas from 40 Developmental Assets
to construct positive identity, clarify positive values, increase social
competencies, enhance boundaries, safety and self-defense. 12 sessions.
Mental Health: Designed to help adolescents resolve mental health
issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, adjustment,
self-esteem, assertiveness, and conflict. The number of sessions is
agreed upon during the initial consultation.
Parenting - Level II Parenting with Love and Limits: Based on
cutting edge curriculum from Parenting with Love and Limits®,
this program is designed to help adolescents replace self-defeating and
dangerous behaviors with self-enhancing and safe behaviors. 8 sessions.
Substance Abuse Groups: This education and therapy program is
designed for adolescents to replace substance abuse problems with
appropriate alternatives for meeting their needs. 10 sessions.
Trauma/Victim Services:
Designed to help adolescents appropriately manage and cope with the
effects of trauma.
Triple R - Rationality, Responsibility & Resolution: This program
helps individuals understand why they make the decisions they make,
provides tools to calm stress and resolve conflict, and practical
application for goal-setting and achieving. This is a one-day, 8-hour
seminar offered bi-monthly.
Victim Empathy & Letter of
Apology:
This program is designed to help adolescents develop a pro-social
perspective through a variety of empathic techniques. 4 sessions.
